Looks like skin means texture stays

Skin has grain. Filters remove it; bad foundation copies the filter. MONTEREY complexion makeup is supposed to cover redness and blemishes while leaving that grain. That is the difference between “I can’t see the mark” and “I can’t see a person.”

How the line gets there

Lightweight vehicles. Buildable pigment. A natural finish. No heavy, cakey stack. Sensitive skin is part of the brief because thick bases are what people peel off by noon.

What we will not claim

This is makeup, not treatment. It will not “erase” rosacea, rewrite texture, or replace a clinician. It will cover, lightly, and try not to announce itself.
