Route5 × Grok: capture relay and operator agents

Grok reads meetings, proposes commitments with owners and due dates, and pairs with Hermes Agent for persistent follow-through — separate from xAI’s ranking research layer.

Grok by xAI

Grok is Route5’s capture brain — not the same thing as the x-algorithm desk ranker (see the xAI integration page for that). When you connect Grok, Route5 sends transcript text through Grok 4.3-class models to extract structured commitments: who owns it, what “done” means, and when it is due. Every proposal lands in Capture review; your team approves before publish. That single gate is what keeps accountability clean when models are fast.

How it works

Route5 connects Grok by xAI to invisible capture, owner assignment, and Slack follow-through — without another siloed dashboard.

Long meetings are where Grok earns its keep. Multi-speaker calls, overlapping action items, and “we’ll circle back” language get disambiguated with quote preservation — you can audit what was actually said versus what the model inferred. Route5 stores the relay output with enough context that a reviewer who missed the call can still approve in under a minute.

Grok Hermes agent (via Nous Research) extends the same xAI subscription into a persistent operator: WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, Signal, and other channels; long-term memory across sessions; Grok 4.3 reasoning; Grok Text-to-Speech; Grok Imagine for visual follow-ups. Route5 handles meeting capture on desktop; Hermes can nag across channels without another siloed task list.

Connection paths: Settings → Connections with your xAI API key, org deployment key, or Terafab-hosted endpoint when enabled. Capture relay, feed enrichment, and agent nudges share routing rules — change the key once, every ingest path respects it. Disconnect anytime; historical tasks stay on your desk.

Voice and paste paths converge on the same relay. Mobile voice debriefs, Slack thread forwards, and Zoom cloud transcripts all normalize to text before Grok runs. Nothing posts to the task board until a human taps confirm — but the draft quality is high enough that teams report cutting post-meeting admin by more than half.

Security posture: keys are encrypted at rest per workspace. Rate limits and audit logs apply to relay calls. Preview mode still works without a key so you can demo the desk; production teams should connect Grok for live extraction quality.
