Sheer foundation often means no coverage after an hour. Heavy foundation means coverage that looks like a decision. Lightweight foundation is the middle: pigment that stays, vehicle that does not announce itself.

How to wear lightweight foundation all day

  1. Apply a thin first pass. Wait a minute before deciding you need more.
  2. Build only the areas that still show redness or a mark.
  3. At midday, blot — do not stack another coat — if shine appears. Extra product on oil is what turns lightweight foundation heavy.
